WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT YOUR CIBC AEROGOLD VISA CARD IN 2014
We recently informed you of some exciting new Aeroplan Program developments with the addition of TD as our new credit card issuer and the extension of our credit card relationship with CIBC. Since then, we’ve heard from members like you who want to know when they will receive additional information. Today we’re writing to provide you with an update on important program developments and what this means for you as a CIBC Aerogold Visa cardholder.
As a CIBC Aerogold Visa cardholder, you will receive a letter from CIBC in early January informing you whether your credit card account will remain with CIBC or transition to TD.
NOTHING CHANGES ABOUT YOUR CIBC AEROGOLD VISA CARD IN THE COMING MONTHS
If your account remains with CIBC, there will be no change to your existing arrangements. Keep using your card as you usually do, and continue earning Aeroplan Miles on every purchase.
If your account is transitioning to TD, you will also receive a letter from TD in January. This communication will provide you with more information about the transition of your credit card account to TD, expected to occur in mid-2014, and answer questions you may have. There’s nothing for you to do at this time—the card transition process will be automatic and there will be no duplicate annual fee charged when your account is transitioned to TD. There are no immediate changes to your CIBC Aerogold Visa Card. For now, continue to make purchases on your CIBC Aerogold Visa Card and earn Aeroplan Miles until your account transitions in mid-2014. Rest assured, if you are away for the holidays, your card will continue to work just as it does today.
EXCITING NEW PROGRAM ENHANCEMENTS FOR TD AND CIBC AEROPLAN CARDHOLDERS
